This temporarily event of football was held in the small international school called ISE (International School of the Eastern Seaboard), a 30 minutes drive from our school. I was worried because our senior team was not fully prepared and we were going against schools which have a much stronger football team than us. We played in 3 matches against ISE, GIS and St. Andrews. My objective was to put in my fullest potential in every match I played. Even though I have lost some of my fitness due to a lack of exercise, I still pushed myself to succeed. Other than my competitive side, I tried to have fun and support my team mates throughout the process of the match. Even though we lost in two of our matches, we luckily beat I.S.E. In my opinion it was pure faith. It was the friendship bonds within or team. There were ethical issues involved in a match of football because we must respect the opposing team and also out team mates. If someone makes you irritated or annoyed, rather than letting lose on them we should try to stay calm and continue with the match. Eventhough we weren't as successful, football still mean a lot to me. I've participated in many tournaments through out the course of my school life and every match has its own beauty and diversity. For the next football match, I would like to set an individual goal. I want to improve my fitness and football skills since I've stopped the sport for a while due to academics. I want to push myself to the next level.
